Hola!
I’m Alison, the writer behind Alison on Foot. Welcome to my website where I’ll be sharing all my travel adventures, many of them on foot.
In 2022 I walked the Central route of the Camino Portugués from Porto to Santiago de Compostela and decided to start a blog to share all my experiences.
Since then I’ve walked another two Caminos (the Coastal route of the Camino Portugués and the last 100 kms of the Camino Francés) and hope that my blog will give you some inspiration to get walking too.
Even if you don’t fancy a multi-day hike like the Camino de Santiago I write about other shorter walks and hikes, as well as guides to some of my favourite places.
Happy travels!
